I have been on several charters ( Keys , St Augustine , Clearwater ) and none were even close to the trip i had with Outta-Here and Captain Wayne , I will be making plans to fish again with Captain Wayne , It was by far the best Trip i have been on, not just the fishing but the way Wayne treated us and how he took care of our familly ,,, thanks Captain wayne ,, see you in Oct.
Went out yesterday and had an absolute ball. This trip celebrated HS graduation for our sons...I don't think we'll wait for college graduation to do this again. We wanted this middle ground trip to be a special experience and it certainly was. Capt Wayne and Nunny are two really nice people who know their business, take care of their clients and deliver the BIG fish. THANKS!

We are scheduled to take are 2nd trip with Wayne in sept.(10th) We had a great time the first time around and were sure we will this time too. OUTTA HERE is the BEST! Hey Nunnie and Wayne, I just saw the pictures of your son's first deer, that's a great father and son memory!! My eight year old killed his first deer the friday after Thanksgiving a seven-point buck, I was so thrilled. His luck just kept getting better, the next weekend he killed two more (does). Nunnie, I think our men's group is going to book again for the fall, I've just had to take a back seat and let someone else do the work for a change. I just wanted to say, Thank you so much for everything you and Wayne have done for me. The time I spent with you and Wayne on and off the boat has been unbelievable. Ya'll let me see first hand how a successful charter business should be ran through hard work and Honesty. The experience I gained and the friendships I made will stay with me forever. I miss Steinhatchee so much . I think the last time I was down was in October. Thats to long... During that time I've been doing a lot of fishing in Suwannee taking out folks from Jacksonville and Atlanta. I think Wayne would be proud of me, out of 9 trips we've limited on all but one... It's no forty something in a row but I'm working on it. Whenever I get my new boat I'll start fishing Steinhatchee more. Right now I'm just waiting to create my LLC and once I get that done I should be open for business by February. Once again, Thank You so Much for supporting me and believing in me. The judge issued a favorable ruling that NMFS acted in an arbitrary and capricious mnanner by closing all grouper instead of just red grouper. ONLY RED GROUPER WILL BE CLOSED! I would like to respond to the Aug 28th note about the cost of fuel & the price of the fishing trip. The charter boat does NOT SET THE LIMIT. The laws do. How can you even think the the boat should lower their price because the limits have changed. It cost the same amount to catch 18 as it does to catch 30. I went on this charter in early August. Yes we were allowed the larger limit but I will go again even if the limit changed. Please keep up the good work. I know you need to make a living just like we ALL DO. Roger

Here is some information that I cut from the Gainesville, FL newspaper. Don't give up, we are still fighting:: Wiley Horton, Chairman of the Coastal Conservation Association's Gulf Fisheries Committee, sees no need to hide his disdain. "The emergency rule closing all grouper fishing to recreational fishermen for two months is perhaps the most massive and misguided blunder the National Marine Fisheries Service has committed during its long history of mismanaging public resources. The current federal plan allocates more grouper to just 25 longline vessels than to all recreational fishermen along the Gulf Coast combined. "The CCA supports the unanimous recommendations of the Florida FWC: Five fish limit, one of which can be a red grouper and no closed season. We intend to file a lawsuit against the federal government on the grounds that it's unfair, unnecessary, and punitive to close all grouper fishing due to a statistical anomaly regarding the red grouper catch. At the end of the day, we expect to win."

To all grouper fishermen/women: As you are probably aware by now, the National Marine Fisheries Service(NMFS)has passed a temporary rule drastically reducing the grouper bag limits and imposing a two-month closed season on the recreational harvest of all grouper in November and December. Under the temporary rule, which takes effect Aug. 9, recreational grouper fishermen are restricted to just one red grouper (down from the current two per day) and a total of three grouper per day down from the current five per person). Many believe these new rules are excessive and based upon flawed data collected by the NMFS--which states that the recreational harvest of red grouper increased by a whopping 130% last year. We believe that data must be erroneous, considering the fact that anglers had to deal with four major hurricanes in 2004 and that 95% of all grouper are caught off of Florida's coast. NOW IS THE TIME TO LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD! Public comment on this new rule (which could be put in place permanently) will be heard at the Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council's (Gulf Council) Aug. 10 meeting in Fort Myers Beach at the DiamondHead Beach Resort, 2000 Estero Boulevard. The Gulf Council will hear comments on the proposed gag and red grouper rules from 1:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. at its Wednesday, Aug. 10 meeting. Public comment is scheduled to continue (if needed) on Thursday morning from 8:40 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Anyone wishing to testify before the Gulf Council must register before the testimony period. Copies of all pertinent documents are available by calling 813-348-1630. You also have until Aug. 24 to submit written comments on the temporary rule. Comments may be submitted by email (send to: 0648-0T45.Interim@noaa.gov) and include "0648-AT45" in the subject line. You can also submit comments online by going to the website http://www.regulations.gov or mail them to Phil Steele, Southeast Regional Office, NMFS, 263 13th Avenue South, St. Petersburg, FL 33701. We also suggest you forward any and all comments to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), who is charged with enforcing rules in state and federal waters off the state of Florida. FWC has thus far opposed a closed season and reducing the total grouper bag limit from five to three. Below you will also find a list of state and federal elected officials who may be able to help in making sure that this "temporary, emergency rule" does not become permanent. Be sure to mention the tremendous economic impact that this rule is having and will have on Florida's fishing industry, from individual bait and tackle shops, marinas, boat, motor and trailer manufacturers and retailers, guides and charter captains, etc. Please take a moment to write down your thoughts and concerns on this grouper rule and forward it to the officials listed above and below. My previous post made on this Guestbook was a major Mistake. I have not ever done business with this Charter Company. I went out with a Captain on the East Coast of Florida, And had a horrible trip. I was looking for the Boat's Website to post my disgust. As I was looking, I found this site. I continued searching and accidently kept this site loaded and minimized. When I found the Correct site, I minimized it as well, Then when I was going to make the post, I brought up this website and did not further inspect it to make sure it was the correct one. And then I went to guestbook and made the Majorly Mistaken post. It is quite apparent after looking at Mr. Emery's pictures that he is an awesome captain and knows what he is doing. This was a major Mix Up and I Deeply apologize for my Extreme Confusion of websites. This will not EVER happen in the future. Please do not use my post as a way of judging whether or not to charter Capt. Wayne. He must be a great Captain to have this kind of Guestbook. Please Strike my Post from the book if possible. We went Out with Wayne and had a Horrible Day.....The Cabin was freezing, So much for the Heated Cabin.....And the head of the boat was nasty. We caught 3 Grouper and only 1 was a keeper. He put us on a spot he said "Held" amberjack.....Nothing But Grunts and Remoras. This was the worst 800 dollars I've ever spent. Do not give you money to him unless you don't mind completely blowing it on a horrible day on the water.....

Very Nice, very nice. I am interesting booking a chrarter for my brothers, sons and myself. This is goning to be a special trip since my brother has been diagnosied with carcenoed cancer, no cure. We had a wonderful New Year's Eve day with Captain Wayne. We could tell that customer service is all-important to him. We got on fish right away - grouper and amberjack - and after getting our limits, spent the rest of the afternoon doing catch and release until we were too tired to catch "just one more".
